Designers of large computer and server motherboards and communications backplanes can analyze the signal integrity performance of their board, connector and package interconnects in detail, or can predict the eye diagram degradation in the interconnects due to frequency dependent transmission line losses and crosstalk.

Because IConnect employs its own Interconnect Link Simulator, your TDR/T and S-parameter measurements can be included in simulations directly in IConnect Link Simulator, and converted into SPICE or IBIS models using IConnect MeasureXtractor™ for accurate system simulation in your own SPICE or IBIS tool.
|
IConnect TDR software provides you with an integrated simulate-and-compare link between SPICE simulators and TDR measurements, allowing you to quickly validate models produced by IConnect or by outside tools, such as field solvers. You can validate your own models for your board trace, package or connector, or the models provided by your vendor. The whole design can be validated using either IConnect Interconnect Link Simulator, or using an external SPICE simulator, ensuring that the your design works reliably and the eye diagram is within spec.

Eye diagram mask test for high speed compliance testing for Automatic jitter and eye opening measurements. Cost-effective eye diagram - CJTPAT, K28.5 and PRBS length extended up to 2^31 bits. Repeat patterns in the eye diagram multiple times to allow for a longer bit sequence.
Additional built-in mask test standards: IConnect now provides predefined masks for the following standards: - HDMI Sink, - HDMI Source, - Infiniband With Crosstalk, - Infiniband Without Crosstalk, - PCI Xpress Receiver Base Spec, - PCI Xpress Receiver Cable Spec, - PCI Xpress Transmitter Cable Spec, - SATA-I-RX, - SATA-I-TX, - XAUI Far End, - XAUI Near End.
